Virtual Assistant Talent was established by John Davern, Jr., MBA as a result of his own experience and business needs. John has a BA in Labor & Industrial Relations from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA in Human Resources from Duquesne University. In graduate school, John was an active member of the International Student Organization, where he developed contacts and friendships with people from all over the world, and established an appreciation for other cultures.

In addition, John is a Certified Internet Technology Webmaster, received at Illinois Institute of Technology, and has also spent thousands of dollars in personal development and training on Social Media/Web 2.0 and using it to grow his businesses.

John is also the Managing Principal of Bay Area Home Buyers, LLC and GP Investment Network, LLC, which buys, sells, and holds real estate. These businesses maintain an excellent standing with the Better Business Bureau. He has been involved in real estate investing for over 9 years and owns investment properties in multiple states. John is active in his local Real Estate Investor Associations, including Bay Area Wealth Builders and San Jose Real Estate Investors Association.

John became involved in real estate investing while still in the corporate world so he quickly saw the need and importance of leveraging his time most effectively. As a result, he began using VAT LLC to help support and grow his real estate business, thus practicing what he preaches. Now he is using what he has learned to help others improve their businesses and quality of life through VirtualAssistantTalent.com.

Human Resources and Recruitment

Recruitment Specialist since 2013. The big responsibility of finding reliable and highly-skilled talents that will match the client's project requirements is my expertise. I have also been helping VAT clients with their immediate concerns, ensuring a better connection with their VA's to consistently improve their business. I act as a mediator for both VAs and Clients making all parties enjoy trusting, mutual long-term professional business relationships.

I am a fulfilled work at home mom of 3 kids and a loving wife. I consider VAT my FAMILY and HOME as I've been through it all for both clients and our internal team. Flexibility, growth and balance has been my very heart with VAT.

I have been with VAT early on when systems and work flows haven’t been set-up yet. Luckily, we’re past all that. Still, we’re gearing for continuous relevant changes. My goal is to continuously improve VAT’s daily site operations by managing internal team members and client-based VA’s efficiently and effectively. In managing a growing company, the secret lies in making sure everyone is on board with your vision and that everyone truly understands the role they crucially play to achieve team success.

I thoroughly practice what I preach. I absolutely love my freedom. To be able to do the things I want to do, when I want to do them and who I wanna do it with is always a luxury that I love to enjoy with my son. Forever beach life anyone?! 🙂

I started as an SEO Specialist for VAT but I have successfully transitioned as the company's main Compliance and Finance Officer. I make sure that all VA's comply with the policies and procedures set by VAT to continuously create a VA-Client win-win relationship. Monitoring compliance reports, tracking payroll hours, and subscription recharge updates are all my cup of tea.

I am a work-from-home dad and a pet lover just like my adorable sons. Together with my wife Michelle, the team's Payroll Specialist, we track and monitor VAT's financial matters for a better business decision.
